How to Edit an Image with Annotate

Use AIHom Annotate to edit part of an image without starting over. Change furniture color, try a different fabric, or adjust another detail. You can work with an image or render generated in AIHom, or upload an existing image.

Step-by-step guide

Create a new project or open an existing one, then add or select the image you want to annotate.

  1. Double-click the image you want to edit.
  2. Click Annotate to enter annotation mode.
  3. Drag to select the area you want to change.
  4. Enter your editing instructions, then press Enter to save the annotation.
  5. Repeat for any other areas you want to edit. You can annotate up to 5 areas in one request.
  6. Click Generate in the chat box to apply your edits.

Get better image editing results

  • Keep the selection focused on the area you want to change.
  • Be specific about the result: name the object and the color, material, or finish you want.
  • Say what should stay the same, such as a wooden frame or nearby furniture.
  • Check the whole image when the edit is ready. AI may also change details outside the selected area.
